How to run .EXE files on your ANDROID smartphone

In many cases, when the user wants to run the application in the format of “exe”, the phone can not recognize the file. The program with Windows you cannot run on the smartphone without additional funds. This is due to critical differences in the structure of operating systems and processor architectures. Which startup is possible only with the help of special tools or streaming.

In this article I will talk about the launch programs for Windows (*.exe files) on phones and tablets running the Android operating system. We are not talking about firmware a different operating system instead of native Android, the emulator which runs the Android environment.

The emulator creates a simulation of the desktop OSes. Developed a few stable tools to do it. But the principle is the same: the smartphone is installed the package from the emulator as a standalone application. Then, the memory card is loaded in the currently installed programs from your computer.

Files with the EXE extension are executable files intended for use in Windows or MS-DOS. You can’t make all EXE files work on Android. However, many of the old EXE files are DOS based, you can open it using the DOS emulator DOSBox.

This emulator will be of interest primarily to fans of old DOS games. But despite the fact that it is designed to run DOS, craftsmen have found a way to run Windows on it. It should be noted, it works well. This emulator is the best screen, Windows took all the place on the display wasn’t a black frame around the edges. The mouse works a bit better than QEMU. However, if the QEMU mouse does not always work, in aDOSBox she sometimes randomly “clicks” when you move.

How to install DOSBox? Do the following steps:

Step 1

AnDOSBox, aDosBox and DosBox Turbo — three different applications DOSBox, available in the Google Play store.

None of the methods of launching applications Win32 on devices with android does not give you the opportunities that would be in a full-fledged operating system Windows. Not important if speed and lack of sound, it can be quite bearable to run programs without access to the network, playing games (DOS games will be quite work well). Everyone has their own reasons for installing emulators i386. Good luck in the experiments.
