Windows 10 now blocks installation of incorrectly signed drivers

Microsoft will block installation of incorrect third-party drivers for Windows 10 and Windows Server users. According to the plan, this will save you from unnecessary compatibility problems and unexpected bugs.

“When installing drivers created by third-party companies, users may see the error “Windows can not install the developer of this software”, – explains Microsoft.

“You may also encounter the notice “No signature found” if you try to see the signature in Windows Explorer. With the release of October updates, Windows requires DER encryption and correct driver signature

Users who encounter these bugs are advised to contact the developers of problematic drivers and ask them to update and properly sign the software, reports anti-malware.

The innovation has affected user versions (from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 2004), as well as server releases (from Windows Server 2012 R2 to Windows Server 2004).
